Dear Valued Client,
I would like to welcome you to Southern Elegance Landscaping’s first edition of The Gazing Ball. The Gazing Ball will be a seasonal newsletter of what to expect to see happening on your property as well as things to keep any eye out for seasonally.
First, I would like to say I have created new positions of area managers to better serve your landscape. You will be hearing more about this in the second edition of The Gazing Ball, as we are working to this new program in place.
Second, I am working on a new website for Southern Elegance Landscaping, more to come as progress is being made. A client of ours is working on this for me and will be out and about making pictures of some lawns and gardens of the properties we maintain.
Finally,
For clients with Lawn Fertilizer Applications
We will be applying 2nd round of fertilizers to warm season grasses, a non burning dry granular fertilizer which should be watered in, rain or otherwise, to activate feeding.
We will be spraying all lawns, warm season and fescue, for broadleaf weed control.
Keep an eye on grassy weeds, nutgrass, crabgrass, dallisgrass, etc. These grassy weeds can become invasive if left unchecked, and will require additional treatments. Spot treatments start at $50.00 per application and may require follow ups, whole yard treatments start at $95.00 for 5,000 sq ft area.
Keep an eye out for fungus, especially on fescue as the heat and humidity rise. Fungicide applications can be pro active, or reactive. Lawn fungicide applications start at $125 for a 5,000 sq ft area.
Please let me know if you see any issues with your turf and need to schedule a treatment.
I am looking forward to providing better service, and working closer with you on your property,
Billy Broom
