Around the Shop

Meanwhile, back at the shop, I continue to work on our website which proves to be a full time job itself.  We have 5 new hens and 1 rooster. We have the same rooster, free to a good home or soup. Grass keeps growing, flowers are blooming, and hundreds of butterflies have descended onto a passionflower vine growing on the gates. I visited the Denver Botanical Gardens on Labor Day. It is world class, art and blooms, if you have a chance stop by.

Additionally, we recently began offering a twice a year tree and shrub fertilizer program to our maintenance clients. There is an application coming up in October, let me know if you would like to add this to your landscape maintenance program.

  • March, 14-14-14 slow release granular fertilizer applied to trees and shrubs, and a systemic insecticide applied to the soil to provide a resistance to harmful insects.
  • October, 14-14-14 slow release granular fertilizer provides a fall feeding, and horticultural oil spray applied to prevent overwintering pest.
